Collection Okasaki Collection
Description Probably, it is a Okasaki's wallet. There are picture of Okasaki, one piece of Ottawa Herald, and letter inside of wallet. Inside of the writting of newspaper is..."In Highland cemetry, two miles southest of Ottawa, near the mail entrance gate I found an interesting grave. The maker is an old time tombstone slab of marble, gray with mildew and moss. ...I have been told that his father a very rich man, disowned this son when he accepted Christ, but later come to visit this grave. Mr. Okasaki was a very popular student socially as well as scholastically..." (Ottawa Herald, May 13,1939)
There are birds and bamboo pattern on the face of wallet.
