Description Wooden Indian woman doll. She is standing with her right arm holding a vessel that is balanced on her hip and her left hand resting on her other hip. Her clothing is painted on and includes a turquoise, white, and red sari and a red blouse. The vessel on her head is tan. Other painted details include facial features, a bracelet, ears, and hair. A flat, narrow piece of wood has been glued to the doll's head so that it appears she has a long pony-tail. The head and body of the doll appear to have been carved from one piece of wood. The curved arms and bowl are separate pieces of wood that have been glued on.
