Collection Beatrice Holt Collection
Description Large wooden jewelry box with intricate red/orange, gold, and black design painted on the exterior surfaces. The design in abstract but symmetrical and includes both serpentine and geometric shapes. There are painted birds one of the small sides and elephants on the other small side of the box. The lower portion of the box is rectangular while the hinged lid is in the shape of a hip roof. The box is held together with metal edging. There is also a curved metal handle at the top and an intricate metal latch. There is a small interior box inside the box. There are four metal feet near the four corners of the box
