Description Brass door knocker. The main body of the knocker is a round disk. In its center is a raised figure of what appears to be a combination of a dog or other animal head and a human head. The animal head is at the top half of the figure while the human head is at the bottom portion. A round textured ring, which is the knocker portion of the object, is attached to the raised figure. There are three perforated holes around the disk shaped body where screws or nails could be placed in order to attach the object to a door or other surface.
