Description Brass ashtray or oil lamp with five points extending from the round shallow bowl. The object has a decorative bird atop a central turned spindle post handle. The bird has etched or carved details including curly tail feathers, neck etchings, large eyes, and a duck-like beak from which an s-shaped object protrudes. There are etched rings around the surface of the handle. The object has a cylindrical 0.38 inch base.
