Collection Beatrice Holt Collection
Description A figure of a kneeling woman carved from a light colored wood. Her features are greatly elongated, especially her arms and hands. Her arms are bent at the elbow and her hands meet, palms up, close in to her chest. She is wearing a long dress or sarong that drapes over her knees. Her hair is worn combed back revealing a widow's peak at her forehead. Her hair is tied into a loose bun at the nape of her neck. There is a flower attached at the top of her head. All of her features have been finely carved in great detail.
