Description Carved ivory statue of two men. One man stands beside the other who is crouching and playing a flute-like instrument. The man who stands has a long beard and is holding a fan. He is wearing a draped robe that shows his bare chest. His robe has an etched cloud design. The other man who is crouched holds his instrument with both hands. He too is wearing a robe with an etched cloud design. He also wears a small cap on the top of his head. At the feet of the two men is a dog-like mythical creature that peers up at the men. His body is visible behind the men as he wraps around the two of them. This statue fits onto (but is not attached to) a dark wooden carved base.
