Description Folding fan made of light wood and white painted silk fabric. The fan consists of 32 child bones and 2 parent bones. The pivot is metal, with a metal loop to hold two yellow tassels at the base of the fan. There is a design on the front of the fan painted on the white material that includes brown and green tree branches and an inserted scene set off in a semicircle at the top of the fan, of two women reading. The women are surrounded by a yellow billowing curtain. One woman wears a green robe with blue trim and the other wears an orange robe with blue trim. There is also a drawing on the front of the wooden bones depicting a figure of a seated man in front of a landscape done in a light brown.
