Description Large oval shaped wooden basin used as a tub for bathing babies. Red and black pigment have been added for decorative detail around the sides. The inside center has been painted with a design of two fish whose heads meet at a point. This tub appears to have been constructed in a similar fashion to other wooden baskets. It is made of wood sheet that has been molded and curved into an oval pattern. Where it overlaps the ends have been sewn together and then placed on a separate wooden base.
