Description Wooden snow goggles used to prevent snow-blindness from the glare off the snow. The goggles are carved out of one piece of wood with an indentation for the nose and two narrow slits for the eyes. They have been colored with a red pigment. There is a narrow ledge above the eye slit to act as an eye-shade. The goggles have a broken leather band that had been used to tie the goggles to the wearer's head.
